Hey guys! I hope your autumn season is off to a good (and fashionable) start! If you’ve been following along on the blog with me, you know how big a fan of DeMellier London I am. DeMellier is a London-based handbag company that designs the most incredible bags at phenomenal prices. Most of their bags range from $350 – $500, and I like to think of the brand as “quiet” luxury. These bags have no flashy logos, just a tiny name print. If you are looking to add some quiet but stylish pieces to your handbag collection, I cannot recommend DeMellier enough!
The Vancouver by DeMellier London is my current go-to bag! I love that it’s a contemporary brand that is low-key but high-quality. The Vancouver Bag is spacious and can hold all my essentials, including my iPhone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, and makeup. If you prefer a slightly smaller bag, The Vancouver is available in a clutch version and a small size.
I’m always on the hunt for the perfect black bag, but if you prefer a pop of color, The Vancouver is available in over 14 different colors and finishes! Be sure to check out the Deep Toffee color, it just screams fall!
Happy Summer ya’ll! I’ve been having some major fun in the sun this summer and trying to keep it stylish while I do it! Longchamp and their gorgeous bags have helped keep my summer looks effortless, chic, and interesting. If you’re not familiar with the French brand, Longchamp, please allow me to introduce you to what may become your new go-to!
A true family business, Longchamp was founded in 1948 by Philippe Cassegrain and is still family owned and operated by his children today. Longchamp is known for creating quality handbags at affordable prices and their signature iconic bag is the Le Pilage.
Links for all pieces are included below.
Longchamp Basket Bag – The Longchamp Le Panier Pliage Basket Bag is my favorite summer bag. The bright white pairs well with so many of my summer looks, and the bag is versatile enough for all occasions. The Basket Bag is canvas with a straw effect and it features a removable shoulder strap. Most importantly this quintessentially French bag will only set you back $235.00! That’s a far cry from most French luxury brands (looking at you Chanel…). I opted for the white version of the bag, it is also available in red and brown. I’d love to hear what Longchamp handbag is your favorite!
J.Crew Teddy Short – J.Crew is a longstanding favorite of mine. I love how the brand stays chic & elegant and these shorts are no exception. The emerald green color gave me a nice contrast with the white/neutral and because it’s J.Crew, the shorts are quality. Follow the link and snag a pair before the fall items arrive!
Zara Bodysuit – Can you have enough bodysuits? I say no, and typically I head to Amazon for my bodysuits but Zara is a goldmine too! Zara offers a wide range of colors and styles that will help you effortlessly transition into fall.
Steve Madden Fisherman Sandals – These chunky lug sole fisherman sandals by Steve Madden are just the thing for any summer look. I paired them with sandals here, but I’ve also worn them with maxi dresses and jeans! These shoes are light and airy and not at all “heavy”. This particular shoe is available in pink and black as well.
J.Crew Jade Sunglasses & Layer Necklace – J.Crew has a fantastic accessories selection. I can always find a new jewelry piece, sunglasses, or hair accessory in J.Crew. If you haven’t tried J.Crew for accessories, do yourself a favor and check them out!
Thanks for joining me and be sure to show Longchamp some love! Remember French-inspired style doesn’t have to break the bank.
Is there anything more challenging to find than a well-fitting swimsuit that doesn’t cost an arm & a leg? Over the years I’ve spent countless dollars on swimsuits that don’t fit my body well, or if they do fit well I’ve had to spend so much on them, I don’t want to get them wet! Amazon to the rescue! The CupShe storefront on Amazon offers all styles of swimwear at unbeatable prices. I scored this chic white bikini for under $40 and the fit is fantastic. The top features an underwire for support which is a HUGE deal for me and the bottoms are high-waisted without being old-fashioned. If white bathing suits aren’t your thing, don’t worry, this suit comes in various colors. Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know what color you went with!
Cover-Up – The white semi-sheer sarong I’m wearing is an Amazon find as well! I’ve linked the Eicolorte storefront here for your convenience. This sarong is available in many shades and finishes if you’re looking for something other than white. Best of all, it’ll only set you back $15!
Sandals – The EVA Birkenstocks are always my go-to beach shoe. The EVA material is lightweight, flexible, and waterproof, everything you want at the beach. Of course, I went with white for this particular look but they are available in so many fun shades and most are available for $49.
My family and I enjoyed spending the day at Kure Beach. I love the small-town beach vibes you get at Kure and it’s only 18 miles from Wilmington! After you finish soaking up the sun in your gorgeous white bikini, here are some fun activities to check out in or near Kure Beach:
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a safe and festive Independence Day filled with love, laughs, and unforgettable memories!
Hey guys! I’ve been feeling really inspired by the “quiet luxury” trend that’s happening now. Quiet luxury is essentially high-quality goods with a complete lack of logos and anything too conspicuous. Say goodbye to handbags with logos splashed across them; the trend now is “stealth wealth” or high-end items that say luxury without actually saying anything.
In my search for some new quiet luxury pieces, I came across the London-based handbag company, DeMellier. According to their website DeMellier was founded with the vision of doing things differently: to design handbags that would make women feel empowered, made ethically and sustainably while giving back to those who need it most. All of their pieces are made ethically in Spain or Italy, and for every piece sold, DeMellier funds vaccines and treatments aimed to save the life of a child in need.
In addition to doing good in the world, DeMellier’s handbags are sold at phenomenal prices! Most of their bags range from $350-$500! Talk about a deal! DeMellier is the true definition of affordable “quiet” luxury. There are no flashy logos on these bags, just a small name print on the bag.
If you are looking to add some quiet but stylish pieces to your handbag collection, I highly recommend giving DeMellier a try! I purchased The Vancouver in Black Smooth and The Nano Montreal in Pink Smooth. It was love at first sight with both bags, but the Nano Montreal has really stolen my heart!
You’ll see more of my DeMellier looks when I post about my New England trip! The pink Nano Montreal Bag paired so well with all of my looks in Boston and Maine, and I can’t wait to share it with you guys! In the meantime, here are some other style posts you might enjoy:

OQQ Yogo Ribbed Sleeveless Romper – If you’ve been following along here at AITNP, you know I love my jumpsuits (and bodysuits) from OQQ on the Amazon storefront. The seamless ribbed pieces are so comfortable and flattering for every shape! The rich vanilla tone of this particular jumpsuit is such a winner for me! Check my Panda Style Board for this jumpsuit’s long-sleeve version, which was perfect for cooler weather. I’ve got a trip planned to Boston this month and I’ve ordered the short-sleeve romper version of this jumpsuit!
Nike Air Max Dawn – I’ve been a fan of Air Max’s since the 90s. I love how versatile they are and these Air Max Dawns are no exception. This particular shade is Light Bone and it’s actually from the Big Kids selection. It’s always good to have a neutral sneaker and the little pop of black on these really help them stand out. In my Foxy Brown Style Board, I’m wearing the vanilla-toned Air Max Dawns and you really see what I mean by the black adding a pop! These are the same shoes but the additional black Nike check totally changes the look. What hasn’t changed with these shoes is their comfort. Nike Air Max’s are truly made for all-day wear.
Mint & Lily Name Necklace – Mint & Lily is an online retailer that features premium personalized jewelry and really affordable prices. I’ve purchased multiple different name necklaces in various fonts and I love them all. Be sure to visit the Mint & Lily site and I’m sure you’ll find just the right piece for your personal style!
Chloe Medium Woody Tote – The Woody Tote is a spacious tote bag that’s great for everyday use. The Chole Woody Tote comes in a variety of sizes from mini all the way to large. Even though my bag is the medium it’s quite small. I can fit my phone, a small wallet, and maybe a small bottle of hand sanitizer, that’s it! I definitely recommend sizing up to the large if you plan to use this bag regularly.
The Woody Tote is available in so many finishes, it’s really easy to personalize it to your particular style. My bag is linen canvas with calfskin straps. Be sure to check out the leather varieties, they are so cute!
I’ve been moving towards the “quiet luxury” trend which is all about designer items without logos prominently displayed, BUT this bag gives such strong summer vibes, I just had to feature it!
Thanks for reading and be sure to leave a comment about any of the pieces from my style boards you may have tried; it’s always fun hearing from you all!
For Mother’s Day this year, I went to VA to spend time with my mom. For dinner, we chose Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant. The meal was fantastic, I had a great time with my family, and I loved the leopard print dress I wore! I don’t have much animal print in my closet, but the look of this dress makes me want to add more!
Links for all pieces are included below.
H&M Leopard Dress – My last style board featured a cardigan from H&M and now I’m featuring a dress from there as well! I absolutely love the length of this dress! It hits just below the calf and I’m also a fan of the smocked bodice. It comes with detachable straps, but I like the strapless “tube top” look. The fit of the dress is just perfect for me, I really like how it flairs out just a bit. I don’t normally wear loose-fitting dresses, but this is one of my new favorites. H&M so rarely disappoints!
Aritzia Georgia Cardigan – This cardigan is the first piece I’ve purchased from Aritzia. Typically I’m J. Crew all day for my sweaters and cardigans, but this red v-neck number was so rich & vibrant, it really caught my eye. The red (the shade is called Miracle Red) is so rich & vibrant and I think it pops so well against the leopard dress.
Aldo Cerquedaflex Oxford – I purchased these cognac oxford loafers to take on my France trip last year (check my Versailles post, you’ll see me wearing them), and I’ve been wearing them ever since! These shoes are comfortable, sturdy, and durable. I did a TON of walking in France and these babies don’t have a scratch or scuff on them. I highly recommend these Aldo loafers as a neutral staple for your shoe collection.
Stella McCartney Braided Shoulder Bag – Are you familiar with the Apple TV original series Surface? If not, here is a YouTube trailer of the series for you…
The show is good but the wardrobe of the main character Sophie, (played by the STUNNING Gugu Mbathah-Raw) is incredible and is truly my dream wardrobe! If money were no object, I’d own EVERY SINGLE PIECE she wears in the show! In one scene she carries a braided shoulder bag by Stella McCartney. As soon as I saw the episode, I knew THAT was the bag I wanted to carry for my France trip (as my black bag anyway). I had to settle for the small version as the larger version Sophie carries in the show was sold out everywhere. The shoulder bag is a little small but I love the look so much, I make it work! I purchased my bag from Bloomingdales but I’m linking to a resale site as the bag is no longer in production. If you can snag it, I suggest you do, it’s vegan leather and so stylish!
I know some folks have mixed feelings about animal print but I think with the right styling, it’s always a good idea!
Thanks for reading all about this leopard print dress and hopefully you’ll give animal print a try in your closet. Please leave a comment and let me know if you’d like to see more style boards!
I recently spent a sun & fun-filled day at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. While the day was bright and sunny, a crisp breeze blew in from the ocean. Luckily I was dressed for the weather! The chunky cardigan I wore was the perfect layer for the mild beach weather. I call this look Boardwalk Blue and if you like it, please keep reading and I’ll share all the details AND give you the links to all the pieces!

Old Navy Extra High-Waisted Button-Fly Sky-Hi Straight Cut-off Jeans – You’ll rarely find me in jeans that aren’t by Good American, but I got these Old Navy jeans for such a steal! I got these high-waisted jeans for $7.00 during last year’s Black Friday sale! It took a while to find just the right pieces to pair with them, but for $7 bucks I didn’t mind them taking up space in my closet! The light wash and loose, comfortable fit definitely make these jeans a must-have for any closet.
H&M Rib-Knit Cardigan – I love a good cardigan and this blue H&M rib-knit is one of my favorites. I have a chunkier, Kelly Green one as well, that I’m just waiting to wear! H&M is always a good choice for staple items like sweaters and cardigans and their prices are always reasonable.
*Underneath my cardigan I am wearing a solid white bodysuit. I’m not sure what particular brand it is so I did not link it.
Marc Jacobs Leather Mini Tote Bag – The March Jacobs Tote Bags are very popular and the new leather varieties are super stylish! My large MJ Tote Bag is black canvas and because it is so roomy, I typically use it for travel. The mini leather tote in cotton is a fresh change for me and I like the nice touch it added to my Boardwalk Blue look.
Aldo Bigstrut Lug Sole Loafer – These lug sole loafers from Aldo’s are my favorites! I have them in black and brown so I’m sure you’ll see them on another style board soon. They are very comfy and despite the lug sole, they aren’t heavy or clunky. I cruised the boardwalk, Riverwalk, and downtown Wilmington in these shoes and I had no comfort issues. The color is not quite white, more like a creamy vanilla and it’s absolutely beautiful in person. I highly recommend adding these loafers to your wardrobe.
Thanks for reading and I hope you’ll give some of these pieces a try. Please leave a comment to let me know if you’d like to see more style boards!
Hey guys! Recently I posted on my IG account asking where my next foodie trip should be, San Antonio or Seattle (San Antonio won BTW) and while I got plenty of responses, I got MORE questions about the denim look I was wearing in the post! I am more than happy to share all the details!
If you haven’t already picked up on it, I’m a big fan of jumpsuits and the Good American brand. This is the second jumpsuit and the second piece from Good American I’ve posted about and be prepared for lots more! There are few things I love more than a one-piece look. They can be dressed up or down and it makes getting ready such a breeze. While I didn’t intend to do a style board on this look, so many people messaged me about the jumpsuit, I just had to put a board together with links!
Links for all pieces are included below.
Good American Fit For Success Jumpsuit – As I mentioned in my Foxy Brown Fashion Post, I am a HUGE fan of Good American & I absolutely adore this Fit For Success Jumpsuit. I’ve worn it multiple times and it’s more versatile than you might imagine. During the fall I paired it with a chunky green cardigan and some brown oxfords. For this particular photo, I went higher end and paired it with my Louboutins and my Celine bag. It really does work well with SO MANY DENIM LOOKS. The Jumpsuit is available in various washes, this is Color Blue274. The only tiny little downside to this jumpsuit is that it runs small. Good American products for me have always been true-to-size and this jumpsuit is the first item I’ve purchased that I would have sized up in. I like the fit but there is definitely not any extra room in this jumpsuit lol.
Celine Classique Triomphe Bag – I purchased the Celine bag during my fall trip to Paris. My original intention was to purchase the Holy Grail of Bags (for me personally anyway), the Chanel Medium Flap. I wanted to make the purchase from the iconic 31 Rue Cambon location in Paris, but sadly it didn’t happen. With all of the tours and activities we had booked during our short time in Paris, I just couldn’t make it to the boutique before closing. Leaving Paris without a Chanel is my ONLY regret from my trip to France.
Instead of a Chanel I got the Celine Classique Triomphe Bag and at this price point I don’t want to say I settled, but it’s definitely not my “dream” bag. I do like it though, it’s sleek and stylish and I feel like it will age well.
Christian Louboutin Apostrophy Pump – What outfit doesn’t look good with a pair of red bottoms right? While the Kate & So Kate Louboutin’s are more popular, I prefer the Apostrophy Pump. It’s not too much heel, it still shows just enough toe to be sexy without trying too hard. If you’re looking to purchase a pair of red bottoms, I think Apostrophy is the perfect starting point. She is available in Black and Nude.
Aldo Cortegaca Square Sunglasses – If you follow my page, you’ll definitely catch me in these shades! I rarely leave home without a pair of large (I like my sunglasses BIG) black sunglasses and Aldo is my go-to place for shades. The prices are great as is the quality. If you’ve only limited your Aldo experience to shoe shopping, you’re missing out! Give their accessories a try, you won’t regret it!
Thanks for reading and THANK YOU for the comments you’ve been sending my way regarding my fashion looks. I love creating style boards and your comments help with the inspiration!
Hey guys! Have you been searching for a flattering, comfortable, and oh-so-cute jumpsuit? Look no more because I’ve found just the right one! This ribbed jumpsuit from OQQ store on Amazon features a stylish square neck and long sleeves. It is available in multiple colors and there is also a sleeveless version. Best of all, this jumpsuit is machine washable.
I love how breathable the suit is and even though it is snug fitting, it is extremely comfortable. The material is thick so no worries about it being see through.
Though designed as a Yoga suit, I wore this jumpsuit on a cool spring evening on a movie date with the husband (we saw Evil Dead Rise if you’re wondering). The stretchy fabric of the jumpsuit kept me comfortable throughout the movie.
I just love the look of this jumpsuit! If you love the look too, please keep reading and I’ll tell you more about my outfit AND provide links to everything I have on.
Links for all pieces are included below.
OQQ Ribbed Jumpsuit – As I mentioned in my Foxy Brown fashion post, I love the OQQ store on Amazon! I’ve purchased several different pieces and I’ve loved them all. The bodysuits are my runaway favorite but the ribbed jumpsuit is a close second. It gives such a flattering fit and at only $29.00, I’m sure you’ll love it too!
2021 Nike Dunks Low (Black & White) – Panda Dunks…enough said!
Slouch Socks – As a true 90’s kid, I wanted to add some slouch socks to my look and I think they paired well! I feel like the socks added a youthfully fun touch to the outfit. Amazon has a great color selection of slouch socks to choose from at affordable prices.
Telfar Large Shopping Bag – For my bag, I went with my large Telfar shopping bag. The Telfar was perfect for a movie date because I could easily stuff my jacket down inside and keep my hands free. Movie theaters are notoriously cold so I never go without a jacket. Telfars come is a rainbow of colors so if you don’t want basic black, they still have you covered.
Black Hoop Earrings – I kept the jewelry simple, just my gold name necklace and my favorite black hoops from Lovisa.
While you can never go wrong with a black and white look, this OQQ jumpsuit comes in a multitude of colors (if you want more color). I have the beige in both long sleeve and sleeveless and I’ve got my eye on the beautiful lavender next!
Thanks for reading and hopefully you’ll give this amazing jumpsuit a try. Please leave a comment to let me know if you’d like to see more style boards!
How does the color brown make you feel? Some of the key characteristics associated with brown in color psychology include strength and reliability, and it’s a color often associated with resilience, dependability, security, and safety. Personally, when I see brown I think of earthiness which makes me feel solid and secure. Some view brown as a “sad” color and may be hesitant to wear it. If you’re unsure about wearing brown, please allow me to share some of my personal style tips and suggestions to help you fall in love with the shade!
For starters, let us remember all the wonderful shades of brown! We’ve got beige, camel, tan, caramel, chocolate, coffee, and butterscotch…to name just a few! I like to use brown as my neutral so any of these brown shades pair well with other more vibrant colors!
If brown isn’t your go-to choice, how about starting with a brown accessory? Maybe a chic brown bag? Here are some photos I took on a recent trip to Wilmington, NC. I felt super confident in my look, and the star of the show was the brown (coffee to be exact) bodysuit I wore! I love how the brown looks against my deep skin tone! Notice that I’m only wearing 1 piece of brown clothing but it’s still the star of the show? Start there if you’re afraid of brown! If you like my look, please keep reading and I’ll tell you more about my outfit AND provide links to everything I have on.

Good American Good Icon Cutout Jeans – I’m a huge fan of Good American, they fit me like a dream! Khloe has done an amazing job with her jeans, they are true to size and the size range is incredibly inclusive. Now…the jeans are expensive, but DON’T worry, they are ALWAYS having a sale. The Good Icon Cutout Jeans I’m wearing sell for $165.00 but I got them during an after-Christmas sale for $45.00! Don’t be deterred by the normal Good American price tag, just wait for the pair of jeans you love to go on sale! These bone-colored jeans pair well with all shades of brown,
YSL Sunset Medium Chain Handbag – YSL is my go-to handbag designer! To me, it gives the luxury look of a designer handbag without being over-the-top expensive like some brands. YSL is a timeless brand that just looks so dang stylish. I love the Sunset line and I opted for the medium size. The shade is blanc vintage and it’s the perfect neutral for me; this is my go-to non-black bag!
OQQ Ribbed Bodysuit – OQQ is a favorite Amazon store of mine. It’s technically athletic wear but I love the bodysuits! They are lightly compressed so they give you that snatched look without being uncomfortable and they come in multiple shades of brown. OQQ has a wide range of pieces. I’ve purchased bodysuits, 2 piece-coordinating sets, and jumpsuits. You’ll definitely see more style boards featuring OQQ pieces.
Nike Air Max Dawn – I won’t go so far as to call myself a sneakerhead, but I LOVE my sneakers. These Air Max are no exception! They are the perfect neutral, super affordable, and comfy. Follow the link to view the other color options.
Express Gold Hoop Earrings – I love gold jewelry to pair with my brown outfits. Actually, I love gold jewelry with all of my outfits! Express is my go-to for staple jewelry pieces. They always have the cutest classic-type jewelry; of course, I reached for my Express hoops to complete my Wilmington, NC Foxy Brown look!
Thanks for reading and hopefully you feel a tiny bit inspired to add more brown tones to your closet. Please leave a comment to let me know if you’d like to see more style boards!
